How I finally ended up with Jamorama guitar instruction DVD

On this post I tell you my story of how I finally ended up with Jamorama guitar instruction DVD all the way from the beginning to the end.
When I say beginning I mean 3 years ago. My parents bought me classic guitar. Since I had no previous experience of playing musical instrument, and I didn’t know from where to begin, it just collected dust in the corner of my room for several months.
About 5-6 months later a friend of mine that playing guitar since he was 10 years old comes visit me. He looked at my dusted guitar and decided to check it. First he tuned it and just he started with couple of Pinkfloyd’s songs.

I really loved it and that moment I’ve decided I have to give it a chance and try learning guitar. I ask my friend for some guitar instructions and where can I find guitar lessons for beginners like me. He pointed me to a website which describes the basic chords for beginners.

I started study it and the basic chords (A, Am, C, D, Dm, G, E, Em) was OK but when I reached the F chord I had my first difficult.

Considering what to do I’ve decided get a guitar private teacher. That was good idea because he taught me some tricks that can ease my chord transfers and make it heard smoother. He also gave me some nice tips how to play those F chords and all the other “advanced” chords (such as Fm, B, Bm and more).

The only problem was it was money consuming. I’ve invested nearly 50$ per week on this guitar lessons.

I share other friend of mine, who also play a guitar, with my dilemma. He told me that he was at the same position as I’m being now and he found the solution at online guitar course called Jamorama.

He said this series of EBooks and guitar instruction DVD are very high quality guitar lessons and it helps him a lot. He also said it really like you have private guitar teacher in your room, but the difference is you paying only once. You can learn guitar through your computer and the course is very professional and suites for all skill levels (Beginners – Pro).

I’ve decided to give it a shot, since the investment was acceptable, and after sign up to beginner to intermediate I’ve got a beginner to intermediate eBook,DVD and jam sessions. I can tell you that my skills improved during the course’s progress. My strumming improved dramatically, not to mention the hammer-ons and the pull-offs tricks.

I remember specially that I had particularly problem with palm muting before this course but now I’m starting to get it.

Now after 6 months I’m using it I happy with my decision so much that this is the main reason of building this website – to help you guys, who don’t know which guitar course to choose, take the decision.

Hope you find this information useful.

Where can I find the best guitar lessons?

As I mentioned before I’m neither an expert nor a beginner.

When I started to play guitar 2 years ago I didn’t know what guitar courses to choose.

I mean, seriously, there are so many ways to learn play a guitar. Which way is the best?

At the beginning I started to learn some beginner’s chords by myself. It was difficult. Not only it demands self discipline, there are some many tricks which those chords can be heard well.

I knew I need real guidance so I hired private guitar teacher. It was really great. He taught me couple of tricks that really helped me with my playing skills and I definitely played better. This solution worked great for me except one little problem: It was expensive!

I was 16-17 years old back then and spending around 50$ weekly was way too high for me.

I searched for cheaper solutions, then a friend of mine tell me about a website that provides guitar instruction DVD for only one fee called Jamorama. I checked it out more closely and figured it provides guitar courses for all levels. Each course upgrades your technique few level up. Each the courses contains both e-books and videos. I decided give it a chance since it was pretty cheap.

After 6 months I’m using it I decided to share it with all the guitar students from all over the world because it helps me so much. It’s was the best solution for me because it combines both techniques I’ve mentioned before: self learning (great eBooks) and teacher tips that helps a lot (the videos).  But most important for me, as I’m a student and my budget is pretty low, was the low price of the course.

Although, there was one thing that bothered me with Jamorama and that was that each course cost money. I mean, I would much happier if I had access to all the courses :) but I guess they also need to profit.
